MUNÀH MUSIC

Before I ever spoke on stages or mentored women, I was a little girl with a big dream to sing. But life’s responsibilities came early and that dream was buried under survival.

At 40, I finally gave myself permission to honour that childhood dream. With no formal music training or industry support, I led every step of my musical journey from scratch. Today, Munàh Music is not just a project. It is a core pillar of the Munàh Global brand and a powerful extension of my mission as a Women’s Empowerment Mentor and Transformational Speaker.

In 2023, I released Kriolas, my fifth original single and the one that resonated most deeply with women around the world. It became more than a song. It became a tool for healing, identity and collective pride. That anthem gave birth to Kriola Di Força (woman of strength), a movement that celebrates the visibility, strength and legacy of Cape Verdean women.

This personal journey and creative leadership have been recognised across media, including invitations to RTP África’s programmes Bem-vindos and Miradouro da Lua, where I shared how music became both a tool for empowerment and a visible expression of my own transformation.

Munàh Music is more than melody. It is living proof that leadership begins with self-belief. That your voice can be reclaimed. And that dreams delayed can still bloom when led with purpose.
